hi i would like to upgrade my lex i am a newbe so what do i need is there a way to replace all 8 speakers with new ones in their original places plus a sub or do i need a new amp and 4 speakers or what? thanx a lot

 

the deck amp and speakers are all tuned together to work well
take any one of them out of the equasion and replace with better components only makes it sounds worse
and not efficient
first is set a budget
figure out what do you like and not like about the stock system
if you really just want more bass add an amp and box with 1 or 2 subs about $400
if you want more sound quality then you will have to replace all 6 of the 8 speakers as the ones in the corner of the dash ccalled sqwuakers( if you listen to then by themselves they are just that)
they are usless in a new system to replace
from $800 and up but bargains can be found anyware
