The exception would be staggered wheels. That would throw a wrench into things. My old mr2 had wider wheels in the back than in the front so it would be weird to change them out. They were 14" though so I don't think anyone was clamoring for them anyway.

I have SC430 wheels on my ES300. They were $250 with 50 to 60% tread left on the tires. I needed new tires at the time so it worked for me. A quick look at the local dfw Craigslist shows the following under "oem lexus wheels" you could also search "oem toyota wheels" as they will pretty much all fit. You just have to check Craigslist a lot as the good deals go fast. I have seen cheaper in the past. There are also more sets but I limited my post to $500 or less. Some crackheads want $2000 for their old stock wheels, I have a feeling they will be sitting on them a while.
I've been looking for a set of chrome ES350 wheels, nope. Can't find them. And if they come up it's usually 1500$ with new-ish rubber.
Looks like I will have to look in the US.... and just drive down lol
Hub bore of 60.1mm - yes, all across the board [maybe LS460, and the 6lug SUV's]
Bolt patterns - see above, for COMMON sedans, it's all the same 5x114.3 - except LS460/CT/HS hybrids with 5x100 [prior LS' yes]
Offsets, the offsets on RWD cars are usually higher in the rears - this becomes tricky for FWD cars since the [es in particular] has very tight clearances in the BACK for suspension components.
Widths - staggered, usually 0.5" bigger in the back for OE applications. Not overkill BUT concerning offset AND widths, this may not work out for the ES, which is the only FWD sedan.
Preferably, you want painless and guesswork-free? Get something from any RX, 3GS, Any ES, OLDER LS [01-06], 07+ IS non-staggered.
Those will bolt right up, even use the same lugs... unlike aftermarkets which require spline/tuner lugs to fit & hubcentric rings.
Basically, be careful with the staggered IS fitments. On the 3ES they didn't clear the rear. I don't know how forgiving the 4es is...

Thanks for the info 01 LEXPL, I would suggest that anyone switching wheels do their research and find out width and offset first to see if they will fit. On mine the clearance is very tight in the rear but only rubs under big bumps or dips. I think it can be resolved with a narrower section width but for now I use 5mm spacers.

I got the same type of damage moving a car backward out of my garage with the door slightly opened. Hit the edge of the garage door rails and that was that. I don't even recall why I was doing it. I do a lot of stupid stuff with cars.
