1997 ES300 Headlight Adjustment
I'm racking my brain on this one--
When I purchased my ES300, the headlights were almost useless. They seemed to point directly to the ground. The headlights were yellowed so I thought perhaps that oxidation was causing some issues. Gave them a great scrub this weekend and returned them to new.
However, I still noted that the headlights needed adjustment. I was able to tweak the passenger side bolt to move up the headlight, but the driver side bolt is nearly inaccessible. The relay box and some type of plastic shield (looks like an air intake or cabin intake???) is covering the bolt, making it inaccessible. Do I have to remove the housing entirely to adjust the headlight?
Also, my headlights look like a disco ball when I pull up close to a garage door. I've already purchased some HID headlights to see if that would help.
So, how do I get to the bolt to adjust the headlight for the driver side headlight? What would cause the headlights to look so poor? I've googled this issue tons but still seem to be unable to find how to adjust the headlights properly.
