If your 92 has a factory amp then that is probably your problem. If you don't bypass the amp you will get alternator whine, sounds like a plane taking off as you step on the gas. I went through the same problem with my 96.
If there isn't a factory amp, then usually it is not a secure ground.
Hope this helps.

you have the same system 92-96 stock pioneer
you didn't say if you only added the deck or speakers and a new amp
the noise comes from the alternator and its grounding
it probably was always there but is now more prevalent because of the new deck
you have an amp under the passanger seat but i doubt it is your problem you might want to make sure you made the right ground connections or just run a new pair of test wires to the battery directly to make sure of the wiring problem
the whine can come from a reflux of the ground waves
kind of like the echo in a surrond stereo system time delay when they cross you hear a whine which is why it is best to use as little grounding points as possible
if the pulse of the alternator reaches the amp and radio at different times you will hear that noise which is also probably happening
i have the noise also with my new system but i have traced it back to my alternator output which when not a full 14.4 volts it makes a whine also my dash lights get very yellow
