CV Joint
I already posted this in another thread but thought i would post it here as well.
Friend of mine has a 94 es 300 and needs his cv joint replaced. The car has 192k on it and ithe cv joint is now starting to make noise while turning. does any one have any info on how to replace it?

Yes the cv joint is bad . You can get a rebuild unit and you should be able get it done roughly
$50 labour and the rebuild unit can cost somewhere from $150- 200

150 -200 is pretty cheap but i have never priced a rack yet
only because it is a varible assist
it is more likely the cv the rack doesn't click when damaged
replacing it isn't really a diy job
more of a pain in the ssass
