Default Trunk/Fuel Door switches & Side Mirror Switch illuminate?

Do these switches illuminate when lights are on? Is there a replaceable bulb(s) for the fuel door & trunk switches?

Same question for the Mirror Adjusting switch - illuminate?

I believe they do, at least I recall seeing a spot for the bulb on the switches on my 2000 Es.

edit, see here:

2nd photo shows the rear, the brown circle is the bulb itself.

yours are probably all burnt out. This happened on my Dad's 2001 Honda odyssey 280k, all the interior switches the bulbs were all long gone, had to replace each and every single one.

Stock ones are expensive we replaced with LEDs, but if you replacing a few might as well put back stock ones.

Just FYI we used these bulbs, comes in assortment so there should be one size that fits.

@808 - that is the mirror control, not the trunk/fuel door. HOWEVER - last night I was searching for the mirror controls, and had to feel for them - never knew there was a light in it - popped it out at lunch and reseated the bulb - will test tonight to see if that fixed it.

While I had the mirror control popped out at lunch to see if I had a light in the mirror control, I looked and felt behind the trunk/gas buttons cluster and couldn't feel anything unless the bulb is on the inside. That button cluster is about 1.5" square by about 2" deep!

I also removed the trunk/gas switch today. As mentioned above, if there is a light - it is inside/part of the switch

I removed the mirror switch - found the bulb - red base with green cover.
I also have a bulb out for the sunshade switch - grey base with green cover

I tried to remove the hvac control cover - it pulled away from the holder but a large section of wiring harness seems to be holding it in. I have NAV. Will look at tomorrow in the day time

808mcv20l,
did the original bulbs have a color cap on them? If so, how well did the white led's blend in?

Went to Toyota today and bought replacement. $10 for one.... I decided to dismantle the broken one. Its a simple sealed bulb with 2 leeds that feed into the plastic holder. The two leeds then follow the groves in the plastic holder to secure it. I reviewed the LED options but I only had 2 bulbs out. After the sticker shock, I would consider LED for the future.

It comes without the green cover - that is extra.... I re-used the cover from old one - fit fine

Thanks! I was just about to order the climate control and shift indicator bulbs I needed and didn't realize the shade button lit up too until I saw this thread.
