My wife's '02 wouldn't load CDs all the time, and would never eject them (Had to pull them out with hemostats!)
Thought about pulling the player out and cleaning the rollers that ingest and eject the CD, but then thought of an easier way.
I took a blank CD, put a paper CD label on BOTH sides. Then holding it with a pair of hemostats, proceeded to load the CD, but held it with the hemostats and ran it in and out of the slot multiple times, removing the layer of slick stuff that builds up on rubber. Then I got a bit of rubber restorer and put it on both sides of the CD and performed the same procedure. Waited a few minutes for it to dry, and Volia! Loads and ejects perfectly now!
