Roaring noise from the front wheels. It as been there for a few months before I put the 22s on but now it's louder, I turned the wheel as the car is moving but really no change in sound. Only when going faster in speed around 50 to 65 sometimes the sound is not as loud even in that range.

I had the same problem last year. The bearing on my front wheel (driver side) needed to be replaced. There is the bearing and also the wheel hub assembly. I only had to replace the bearing.
This is the replacement part I used

O'reilly offers a cheaper alternative at half the price but I went ahead and spent more for the National bearing for a peace of mind.

I just replaced a bearing on my dad's Toyota Sienna. The whirring noise got louder starting from 20MPH upto highway speed, but there was no change as you turn or wobble in the wheel.
I replaced the right front bearing and the noise went away. The van runs much smoother now. Since the ES shares a similar suspension setup with the Sienna, procedure should be the same:
You will want to use the best quality bearing you can get because this isn't an easy labor item that can be replaced (unlike the rear bearings on the ES). It has to be pressed out by a shop.

A pretty reliable way to diagnose it is to jack the front and support it.
a) Try to wiggle the tire on the hub by grabbing it at 9 and 3, then again grabbing at 12 and 6. Should be solid, no give.
b) spin the tire and have one hand on the coil spring. Should not vibrate; if so, it's very likely the bearings.

Is it possible for the wheel bearing to make a loud grinding/whirring noise only during turns? Not even full turns, but just a slight steering wheel change. In particular, anytime the steering wheel is turned slightly to the right or more, the whirring becomes extremely loud. Not much noise when going straight. I suspect it's the front left wheel bearing.

However you might want to double check your disc brake backer shields to make sure its not bent and just scrapping the rotor.

Ok, thanks! Yep, will double check the shield tomorrow before tearing out the steering knuckle.
