I've just read another thread about the dangers' of mixing Green Universal coolant with Toyota red ...even in an emergency , is it that detrimental to a 2002 ES 300 ,as far as breaking down components of water pump and TB are concerned, I know Toyota dealer feel it's basically trashing your engine to do this, and if that's so...why would maker's of the "Green Stuff" print right on thier gallons, Safe for all and any engine? Does anybody know the Truth the Whole Truth and nothing but the Truth about this issue ???

It says it is "safe to use," not "safe to mix." There is a difference.
You can completely flush the system, remove all old fluid and then install a green IAT if you want. Toyota recommends against it, but many people do it and their systems do last a long time. If you thoroughly read the directions, that is what they endorse, not mixing them.
Mixing is bad.
