I want to plug in my GPS into the cig lighter but I metered the socket and am getting zip. Can somebody point me to the fuse location and number?

Be carefull inserting voltmeter probes in the cigarette outlet - more chance that not that you will short the center to the outside blowing the fuse. Have you pulled your coin door out and looked at the fuse diagram on the back of it?

Thanks for the info. The wife just got home with the car. How do I remove the aux box so that I can check the fuses? I have the owners manual and it says "remove the aux box" but it doesn't say how to do it?????? Also I am an electronics tech so I know how to meter circuits without shorting anything out.

Did you check the voltage at the socket while the ignition was ON or OFF. There is voltage there only with the ignition ON.

All I need to know is how to remove the "coin door" or as the owners manual calls it the aux box?????

Yeah, all you do is open it and pull up and out and it will disconnect from the hinge.
