Es300 year 2001 suspension
Hello
I am new here. I love my es300 coach edition in black. I bought it few months back. Changed its all 4 shocks and new tires. However on bumps it still sound like something loose at front. Else it drives fine.
Mechanic told me it's sway bar boots need to be replaced and lower ball joints. I am still confused what if it doesn't sound smooth after spending more on it.
Any suggestions?

Loose or worn stabilizer linkages will make a clunking or knocking sound as if something is loose when going over bumps. You can usually grab on to them and give them a good shake to check for free play.
Strut mounts will also make a clunking or popping noise going over bumps.
Ball joints are a bit harder to diagnose. With the wheel off the ground, a really worn ball joint will have play in the 12-6 o clock positions. You can also check for free play between the wheel hub and control arm using crow bar.

Thanks for the suggestion
Actually I just changed all 4 struts came with mounts. However can you please suggest where those stabilizer links are located?
