ES250-1990 - need right front ABS wheel speed sensor
#16
Looks like the only solution is to find a used sensor. Seeing they are usually impossible to remove without destroying them you'll need to buy the entire steering knuckle, try car-part.com if you do buy a used one the salvage yard will need to check for resistance on the sensor. They are around 1000 ohms.

Thank you. I tried www.lexuspartsnow.com and parts.autonation - no luck. I just tried mylparts.com. It is showing in stock, but I will call them tomorrow to verify. The problem I am having is that online they will show the part in stock. I put it in my cart, pay for it and about 4 hours later I get an email that it is no longer available. I've done that at least 4 times. They then reverse the charge. One of the places I called said he checked all the dealers in the country with no luck. I am not going to give up on this ! Apparently the part goes under 2 numbers 89542-32010 and ALS1258. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Lexus2000. I tried car-part.com and searched for steering knuckle. "Spindle" came up. I'm not sure what I am looking at, so I think I will call a few of the salvage yards that are close to my zip code.

lexuspartsnow.com is tied into the Lexus/Toyota parts inventory system I'm surprised they listed that sensor as available. Online Toyota dealers did not. Steering knuckle and spindle (same thing in this case) is what car-part.com is calling the part you want look for listings that say ABS otherwise you might get a Camry part that does not have ABS. The parts vendor MUST resistance test the sensor for you.
edit- I see a couple of listings that say 3.0 liter engine that is obviously not from an ES250.
