Smile spacer for my wheel...

Hi./.. I had SSR 225/40 ZR18... on my 98' ES300.. and I had 1.0 drop with H&R...now I just brought some spacer to make my wheel look wilder... I got 7.5mm and waiting to put it on.... does anyone have ever use spacer on their car??? how does it feel... or does it really make a difference.??? or will it fit on my car????

I'm not a fan of wheel spacers. They are more danger than good. Beware because when you add wheel spacers, you ultimately shorten the length of your wheel studs. The less area there is to hold for your wheel nuts will only cause extra stress on the studs...and possibly cause your wheel to fall off in some cases.

Be careful with spacers, they could make your wheels rub the fender if too wide.

That's why some people order staggered offsets to compensate for the rear to be even with the front. Not really a smart choice since you can no longer rotate your tires.

Because with staggered offsets, if you were to put the higher offset wheel and the lower offset on the front or rear, it won't match up with your fenders. because the hubs in the back are set in more than the front...if you were to put the wheels that were originally for the back...the wheels will portrude past the front fenders.
