ES300 - Knocking sound in front end suspension
My 2002 ES300 has 258,000 miles and runs great. About 6 months ago, I replaced all four struts and the front end sway bar links. Last summer, I replaced the brakes and they work like new. The alignment was done previously as well.
The sound isn't always present. Mainly comes up when driving over uneven roads. I inspected the suspension and cannot find the problem. I even replaced the sway bar links again thinking that was the problem. I took it to a garage and they can't find the problem either, so I am not sure what to do from here.
Any suggestions?

Yes. I replaced with OEM mounts.
The sound doesn't seem to be coming from the struts. It kind of sounds like a rod that isn't tight. I can get it to repeat with slalom style turns. Could it be in the steering?
