Yes, it's a '59 Plymouth Belvedere, same type car used in the movie "Christine" (theirs was a '58). It has dual 4bbls on the original 318, 4 wheel disc brakes, 20 inch wheels/tires, pushbutton torqueflight automatic, etc. Original powder blue color. It is an exceedingly nice car. If anyone wants more details, I can point you to the for sale ad, just didn't want to get in trouble for promoting my business or non-Lexus items.

Very cool! I knew that car looked familiar. Not to go too far off topic, but did you perform all of the modifications yourself? Those are some nice upgrades for a classic car.
Just to note, I'm only intellectually curious about the car.

I'm still hoping someone on the board has the true skinny on the number of 5-speed ES's produced in 1993.
Drove the car today, windows down, moon roof open, and it was a nice, smooth ride around town. Put some Lucas fuel system cleaner in it with some new gas and trying to put some miles/stress on it to get the system running smoother. Will Seafoam it when it's next due for oil change.

old thread but just stumbled across this and yes, the 5 speed ES really is a ghost car, much like a 2007 GS430, you just dont see them. ive only seen less then a handful of owners here, and the few examples ive seen are usually trashed. noticed this thread as well as its author, also went ghost. curious to know what ever came of this and if theres more to the story. love seeing the unicorn cars like this because they always have a story. hope the OP kept it, probably didnt and was just looking for info to flip it, however i hope that isnt the case, bc if OP is also a collector besides a flipper, this is a car that he will NEVER see again. hope its still in his garage.
