Default Sealing the Headlights....

A while ago I decided to take out the orange parking lense in my headlights. I did it and then condensation got in there. So, I took them apart and re sealed them, and the condensation came back in a few days. I repeated that about 5 times, and then I just went and got brand new $600 dealer headlights. Anyhow, I am flirting with the idea of clearing them out again, but the thought of condensation in there makes me gag.

If I were to go thru with it, what is the best way to seal the headlights so the wont get that condensation in there.

Thanks!

I used the windshield glass sealant i got from pepboys or autozone. It is pretty liquidy so it flows into the cracks. no condensation for me... I have also heard that you can use aquarium silicone. probably same stuff... hope this helps.

Hmmm, thats a great idea. I used super glue the first time and then my second time I used a head gasket sealant. Man, where to I come up with these things. I think the winshield sealant will work great. Thanks!
