Programming remote for the '96 and older ES300's?
I have found all kinds of information to program the '97 and newer ES300's but not the '96 and older. Is it possible to reprogram a button on an existing key for a different ES300? Can the key be recut to match my car? Whatever information you have would be appreciated.

1992 ES300 extra master key or new remote key
Can anyone categorically say whether or not you can get the 92 ES300 to accept a new remote key through the 'soft-programming' sequence listed elsewhere in the forums (insert/remove key, lock/unlock 5 times, close/open door,....etc)?
And since when I bought my used car, it only came with 1 master key (no others at all), I'd like to buy another non-remote master (cut, probably from sewell), but want to make sure I can actually use it without taking it to a local dealer (who seems to want $70 for anything beyond driving through their parking lot...I think they'd try to charge you if you parked...).
Is there a programming sequence for adding a new 'master key'? and if so, does it work on the 92 ES300?
(I got a remote key off of e-bay (with the right FCC ID), but I can't get the 'new remote programming sequence' to work).....
Pete.
