Question... about 97 ES3 ECU...?
does the computer (ECU) in 97 es learn from my daily driving habit..? (which call drive-by-wire)

You have the terms confused. The ECT-i portion of your tranny detects your driving habits and adjusts shift points accordingly.
Drive by wire system is basically a system that eliminates an actual drive cable from your gas pedal to your throttle body. Instead of having a wire, it's electronically controlled. Here's more info on this:

Your 97 has a regular throttle cable system. The 02 and newer ES300's have the throttle by wire system.
