I have a 1998 es300 and front seats are trashed. boneyard has nice 2001 Es300 seats. I looked at seat diagram for each and the seat frame mount with the motors is the same eventhough seat memory controls move from seat 1998 to door 2001.. i am thinking sincelower seat frame is the sam I should be able to swap seats and add the side trim with the seat memory to the 2001 seats. Any one done this or have some thoughts I'd appreciate it because as of now my daughter thinks the seats are "sketchy" and i don't want to put covers on them because of interferring with the side impact airbags Thx

Are you sure? My 2000 has the controls on the seat.

I was mistaken and looking at next gen which had seat memory controls on the door
