Camry vs Lexus suspension parts - are they the same cost?
When looking up the vin number on Lexus.com for ES 350 and 330 with around 100k miles on it,
I have seen worn and leaking CV axles and ball joints mentioned as a needed repair, which would be approximately a $2,000 to repair.
I would assume that a similar V6 Camry with 100,000 miles on it would have the same suspension problems.
Would the cost also be about the same if it was done at Toyota or other non Lexus repair place?
Is this a typical repair that would need to be made at around 100,000 miles?
Or is this early for these parts to fail and they would normally be replaced at 150-200,000 miles on an ES or Camry?

Lexus dealer is going to be about the highest price place to get the car worked on. At 100k miles the parts you list in need of replacement would be expected depending on how hard the car was driven.

I have read that the drivetrain is the same for Lexus ES and Camry,
but is the suspension the same?
Could you get your Lexus suspension replaced by Toyota Camry parts?

What would be other items that would have been replaced at around a 100,000 miles? (Not including battery, tires and brakes)
I know that the timing belt should be replaced at about 100k miles.
and with it the water pump and all belts and related parts.
Alternator?
But in addition to these common parts, I am wondering about expensive parts that I would hope would last to 150-200k miles.

Its really hard to say 'when' suspension parts are going to fail. Your area can have harsher terrain, more potholes, etc. I know in Houston, struts dont last that long here.
As for cheaper Toyota parts, I know for my car's model, some parts are cheaper, like the strut mounts. Lexus OEM struts are going to be of higher quality and more expensive. If youre looking at any sizeable maintenance, it'd be wise to shop around and get some quotes.

Suspension is electrically adjustable not air. But yea the forward button adjusts the struts.
