Installing a sub to my ES300
I was looking at some sub combo, and look over this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1498
Does anybody know if this package will work on a 96 ES300?? or do I need another type of amp/sub to fit?? I don't have experience on car subs and amps, so any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks!

I don't know how else to put it so I'll just be blunt and say that equipment is total crap. My best advice would be to go over to the electronics forum and read up on audio gear; go to some shops and look at things (but don't take everything the salesmen says at face value). Find some combos you might be interested in and then do a search on them and see what people's experiences have been, and go from there. Just do a little more research before you jump into things and you'll hopefully avoid wasting money on something like that package.
Besides all that, something similar to what you were looking at should work, the only thing that seems to be missing there is an enclosure for the subs. You'll also need either an aftermarket HU or a line-level converter to connect the stock HU.

Thanks!! I'll try to do more research first. Do you think it's worth the money to buy a set of equipment and have it install by some professional, or is it DIY-able??
