Oil leaking into intake
2000 ES300
I've got oil coming into the intake, seems to be pressure coming from the valve covers as the hose into the intake drips oil. It's not a huge amount but it apparently is fouling the O2 sensors which is screening up the state emissions test.
Anybody else have have this problem, suggestions on likely culprits?
Thanks

that's a breather hose, and the blow by is perfectly normal.
- but, it could become excessive if the cylinders are leaking compression into the crank and forcing hot oily air into the intake.
- if you would like to solve this problem for your emissions test the solution is to install a 'catch can' direct the breather hose to it, and seal up the intake inlet hose.

You should check or change your PCV valve. It may be partially blocked, or not functioning correctly. It's an easy 20 min job.
also check the PCV hose for vacuum leaks.
