I was looking under the hood on my '03 ES and I noticed the upper motor mount had two big flat rubber washers on either side of the bushing. They were very loose.....just hanging there. I looked at another '03 ES and it had the same thing. Does anybody have an idea why they put them there?

I had my motor mount replace about a month ago before i had the accident. On my 95 ES, new mount is rubbery and felt loose when touching it. But it was new, motor didn't jump no more, acceleration was very good. So I didn't complain.
