Driver Side Front Window Problems!
My 92 ES driver side window is having some real problems!
The window barely works, and when it does, it will ROLL DOWN FINE, but it will STRUGGLE TO GO UP. It goes down with no problems, but when it goes up, it goes up real slow, and while it is going up, it shakes and then stops after going up about three inches. I usually wait a little bit, then try to roll it up again, and if it does go up, it will again go real slow, then stop. If I pull it up while prssing the switch up, it will go uo, but slow. And whenever I pull it up, it will not work for a while.
Strangely enough, if the window won't go down when I press the switch, I can slam the door, and it will go down, even though I am not toucjing the switch.
I opened it up and looked at the motor, switch, and regulator, but I didn't really notice anything wrong, mainly because I did not know what I was looking for. The main thing I noticed was that the black rubber wires that go from the motor to the regualtor were a little sticky, but I do not know what they are usually like, so I can't say for sure.
Also, the window glass can but pushed and pulled forward and back, which seems strange to me.
Is there anyone who lives in the Bay Area that can help me look at this and diagnose the problem?
Please feel free to ask questions about what I saw while I was looking at the motor and everything. May be I tell you something to help me know what to do!
