Key Fob broke at key 2002 Lexus ES300
Can I use the key portion that broke off from the fob when I replace the shell? Is it really necessary to have a new key cut? Also I have my emergency key (just the key portion, no fob) will those keys work in the new fob?

STAUBER Lexus Key Shell Replacement
I think this will work for you. I have one for over a year without any problems. Definitely stronger than the original design and a cost effective alternative.

Agreed
My original Lexus master key cracked at the plastic shell where the blade intersects. I purchase 2 master key shells with the blade cut to my key number. I unscrewed my original Lexus master, removed the transponder and installed it into the new cut shell from 1010keys. So for me, no programming was required.
