18 x 8.5 Wheels on ES !!!!!!!!!
I asked a While back and the majority was no way. Well today I went buy the wheel factory and did a fit check the fronts no problem but the back had a little rub. the tire was a 265--18 they placed a pacer behind the wheel and no rub. I tried this and road tested them.
I am now going to get 235-35-18 and this should work fine. I should no in a week or two.
I can get a real good deal on the 18 x 8.5 or I would of just took everyones advise on the wheel sizeand ordered 18 x 8 but I did have a couple of custom shops tell me they have done this work before.
Never the less looking at the car with 18" chrome wheels and then putting back the stock ulgy wheels made me sick. I have to have wheels now.

Uhh you sure about that? 235 let alone 245 is already cutting it close to the strut perch for clearance. I think you should double check with 265. That's a little too much.

This Sat. I am installing a set of 18x8 Enkei LM 1/5S with 235/40-18 Toyo FZ4s. I will let you know if they rub also. The manager of the store, said not to worry. He will figure the offset perfectly and there should be no rubbing. Test rides will tell. I got 30 days to decide.
