Hey, you Guys....You seem to have most of the answers. Can anyone tell me if there are kits or ways of replating the gold finish on hood ornament (logo) and deck emblem. I suppose I'll have to go to Lexus Dealer and spend $500. and wait three weeks to get 'em back.
If there's a short cut, I'd like to know...Thanks,

Amazon have gold pens that do a good job, but it takes patience.

most members buy new/used ones off ebay. Otherwise they paint them a different color like black. Hit me up if you want silver ones though. I think I have a set lying around

Working with Rustoleum Gold paint (not recommended for exterior) and Krylon clear lacquer for exterior. So far, the application looks good though no where near as shiny. I sent a request for a quote to a plating service who specified they can/do electro plate plastic/metal car emblems. I did this directly from their website over a week ago, no response. I intend to call them Monday hoping to get plating done.
