Default 2004 Lexus ES330 Battery issues

Greetings, I am wondering if Lexus vehicles only operate properly on Lexus batteries? I have a sedan that has had at least 4 batteries drain at this point. No mechanic can find anything else wrong with the car. Finally called the dealership and they claim it;s because I am not using an original Lexus battery. Is there any truth in this? Thanks

No, there is nothing unique about a battery installed by a Lexus dealer. You need a new mechanic that can troubleshoot your charging system and check for possible parasitic draw.

Have the alternator tested by someone NOT at an oreilly or other store, but an actual vehicle electrical specialist. I had both a Mustang and an F-150 that would drian batteries, nearly overnight....alterntors both had diodes that were bad....would drain the battery. A quick rebuild solved it. One of them also had a failing voltage regulator. Guy said it could've burnt my car up...
