My daughter has an 1994 ES300. Everything was fine until she went through a car wash with the antenna up. Obviously it snapped in half. I purchased a factory replacement mast, installed it, and I thought it was good. Until we turned up the volume, nothing but static. So, I assumed the entire antenna assembly was busted. I purchased a universal replacement stubby antenna, but, before mounting it, I plugged it into the antenna cable to see if it would work. Still all static. Is there something I am missing?
