95 ECU leaking capacitors
Just a heads up for anyone having issues with idling or trans shifting or car running to rich blowing alot of smoke at startup.
I found two capacitors leaking pretty badly in my ECU. I confirmed this is probably the most likely to leak as I found an ECU in the junkyard with the same issue.
There are 6 capacitors in the ECU.
2x CAP ALUM 10UF 20% 50V
1x CAP ALUM 47UF 20% 100V
2x CAP ALUM 100UF 20% 10V
1x CAP ALUM 220UF 20% 10V
So i ended up replacing all the capacitors. The car shifts much smoother, before it would take a while to shift into the next gear until I REV high enough.
The high idle is gone and no more clouds of smoke at start up.
