Depends which one you want, 1 pin is for the instrument cluster 2 pin for the engine computer.

That could be a bad ECU temp sensor (2 pin) for example Beck/Arnley 1580421

Thank you. I have not heard of that brand, but trust you. Is it difficult to change out?

I am not actually endorsing any of those brands, not because they are necessarily bad (they could be) but because I have not used those specific parts. Beck/Arnley generally doesn't make anything they rebox stuff from other suppliers. Sometimes that means you get OEM parts in a different box.

I don't think the sensor is hard to change, can't remember specifically. Remove the connector and check it along with the wiring before you replace the sensor problem could be frayed/damages wiring.

I will try to check the connections and see if there are any obvious problems. My car is overheating today, so I need to post about that. Maybe the thermostat.
