my 02 ES with 18" Enkei/Toyos
I had this done on Sat.
18" Chrome Enkei LM 1/5S on 235/40-18 Toyo Proxes FZ4.
(this thread will probably get moved to wheels/tire forum, no worries, I wanted to start here cause I have talked about it so much here.)

Very nice!
I was thinking about installing a set of 19" AT Italia Inox on my Black ES (example below).
After taking a look at yours, i'm close to making a final decision.
Keep up the good work!

Wow Steviej, I have to commend you about your taste in rims. Those Enkei's are sweet. All you need now is some smoke tint all-round, 35% looks great on silver, and you'll have a complete package.
After looking at your pics, I feel the 02+ ES on 20's with a 1.5-2.0 inch drop would look incredible. I've seen several dropped on 17's and 18's in my area, but the newer ES300's need at least 19's when dropped, like the GS IMO.
This is very promising, I'm now convinced the newer ES300's have great potential

Hey Steve man, the wheels look super on your ES There's something about the 5-spoke chrome wheels that make a Lexus more attractive and unique. If everything goes according to plan for the FBF meet, I'll check out your ride and decide on the wheel/tire package for my '01 ES (or maybe you can give me some input when we're down there, it's all good ). I agree with Xenon that some tint would make the ES more complete. I'm sure that will come later in your summer mod list, but for now, enjoy and take care of your new rims!

lexus96817, the Inox AT was one of my possibilities. I like the style but I wanted chrome. The Inox (18") was described as a polished silver, but was listed when I selected just chrome. It was the runner up to this. The picture you posted looks like a drop was added. That is a possibility, I may not, cause I will return to the stock 16" in the fall.
The biggest hurdle right now is getting my mind used to the 18 tires. The ride of the 16" stock Bridgestone Potenza RE92s was tremendously quieter and smoother on the bumps (as would be expected). It is only a matter of time.
XenonES3, the tint will be the last mod......but the wheels busted me this month. I am partial to the greenish/silver tint similar to an RX300/330. I have seen this on silver and like that more than the dark tints. But we are in agreement, a tint is inevitable.
On a positive note, the cornering is incredible.
rock on.

Yup the Inox AT's are great rims and seem very popular.
Steviej- I'm sure the greenish/silver metallic tints would look great too, although some of these metallic tints lack the UV protection and overall benefits of traditional smoke tints. I don't know if you have navigation, but I've heard some metallic tints interfere with navigation systems.

Looks great, Steve. Enkei's are great JDM rims, and the money you saved over the Ray's Victrix Graicys will buy you plenty of great mods should you desire (springs, tint, etc). The Inox's are nice, they were one of my finalists, too, but I ended up deciding that I really wanted a split five spoke design.
As for the tint, I think the greenish metallic (RX300-style) tint is made by a company called Luminar. FrankWhite has a silver 97 or 98 with that tint and some SC430 wheels, I know he's posted pics of his car here.
Finally, does anybody know if the fender wells are bigger on the current body style than the 92-96 & 97-01? The older cars required some effort to fit 19's, and as we saw from a post about a week ago, 20's look absurd. However, the pic of the 02-03 with the 19" Inox's looked just right, which leads me to believe that 20's would be a possibility on the MCV30 if issues like unsprung weight and poorly paved roads were not of concern.

I have an '03 ES and I was wondering where you got the rear deck spoiler from. It looks really nice!
I haven't seen too many spoilers for the '02-'03 models. Did the dealer install it, and if so approximately how much $ did it cost?

It looks great. It just goes to show how much the appearance of the new ES can change w/ a spoiler and new wheels. It's looking very sporty and coupled w/ the beautiful interior it's quite a nice looking car inside and out. Congrats.

Stevie, looks nice; I like your wheel choice. It does IMO look like it could use a good drop to be complete, but I can see your concern over winter driving. If it's any encouragement, I made it through last winter dropped 1.6" on stock wheels.
The second one on 19's looks nice too, I guess I'm just partial to that style of wheel.
