Default Not the fuse or the bulb...

Two of the three brake lights on my 2001 ES300 work fine (the driver side and high brake light). The passenger does not work. It just went out yesterday.
I replaced the bulb with a new one (twice). I have not checked the fuse but the book says the fuse is for all three lights, so f the fuse was blown, none of them would work...
Suggestions?

Wrong forum...

Could be a bad socket. Have you checked the socket and wiring with a test light?
