Soi have some questions. Im buyin some window tint for my car and having my friends dad put it on. He is not a window tinter but he makes signs and vinyls so he has experience. My only questions are is there anything special that needs to be done like with the strips on the back window or anything? Any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated.

nothing really tints are pretty straight forward... just make sure that you remove the 3rd brake light and make sure he doesnt cut around it... i think thats pretty ugly but other than that its all good.. i went 20% all around i think it looks very nice

with raw, its simple but i think u need special tools though. When i got my tints done the guy sprayed the windows with soap water so he could realign it and got a flat firm sponge and pushed out the soap. He then got a blow-dryer type thing and dried the tints out.

I went with 5% for my rears and Im gonna do maybe 30-35 on my front windows, Cops in Cali are strict with tints

No, not really.. I live in Sac, Cali with 5% tints on 3 rear windows and I roll around Cops all the time. They don't even target me at all.

Your lucky. Here in glendale, and burbank crime is pretty low so cops have nothing to do.... =[

My car is 35% all around, except the front. NY cops in the suburbs arent that bad >_>

could u post a pic of 35% all around? Im debating whether to do 5% on backs and 35% on fronts or just all 35%

ahh i forgot the back i think is 50? its darker than the sides but not by much sides are 35

Also keep in mind, this is the black tints BEHIND the already existing factory tints that are gold/ish.

i was gonna tell you to man up and get 20% all around but then realized you from jersey and you're only 16 so in that case just go with 35% all around

35 all around is fine- that's pretty much what i've got on my car and i've loved it from day one. 20 is pretty sweet too, but two different tint levels on the front and rear windows always bugged me just a little.

we're putting 50 on the windshield when we can, yeah i know that's illegal almost everywhere but i have a medical exemption.

haha tort same as me. After getting the %'s correct. its 35 sides and 25/30 in the back
