which ES is better?
#46
I wasnt picking.. I was just joking about the fact that the question was for what Es is the best.. Juan had mentioned different parts of different Es's that put together as a car, simply dont exist... Of course you were going to say that you love your 93... I understand that...

My favorite is the Gen3 particularly 00-01 aka Gen 3.5.

Technical Bulletin on 2003
Is thre a Technical Bulletin out on the 2003 ES300 about the delay that some say is because of the 5-speed transmission. The delay is the only fly in the buttermilk with this car. It's a shame. Otherwise a great car. I do not like the Goodyear Invicta tires that came on it though.

The first ES300 I think was the most stylish of all. It was when Lexus was still brand new, and it just has this shape that no other car had. Diamond White was my favorite to see on the road, few cars had projector headlights, and even that double 3 spoke rims looked cool.
Sorry, I didn't even know there was an ES250 until maybe 1993-1994 (I was still in high school and was shooting for a nice Honda Prelude or Accord at the time! ; with no job!?!)
I'm glad to see Lexus kept the same design scheme till today. I love the re-freshening of the 2005.

The Gen. 1 ES was the ES250. It did not have projector lights.

Well, the poll is wrong. Many people have misconceptions about the true ES Generations. Maybe I'll write a book. Or maybe it should be stickied in this forum forever for all to see.
