My son broke one key and lost the other set. Bought a new key off amazon (with chip) and have taken it to 3 Locksmiths and they won't touch it. What to do??? Don't have the $650.00 Lexus wants. Please help :-\ Opps... It is a ES300 year 2001

My dealer only charged $35-60 to cut and program for both a 2008 RX350, 2002 GS300, and 2004 ES330. Despite being broken, the key should still allow the dealer to program the keys without programing the entire system.

1010keys.com sells on Ebay. They can sell you a key cut from the key code, if you have it, or a picture of your old key. They are very reasonably priced. I bought a master key and the wallet key from them and they were easy to program.

To cut a key at the dealer is not expensive. I paid $20 and they trace the old key.
