powdercoat
does anyone know any good places to get things powdercoated in houston...i wanted to get the valve cover and a few things under the hood powdercoated...if anyone could reccomend anyone in the houston area, id greatly appreciate it
or instead of powdercoating, is painting just as good (using a high heat tolerable paint of course) and then put a clear coat on it to give it some shine?

get the best of both worlds.
Do the powdercoat yourself at home (just don't let your mother see you doing this in the oven.
Suggestion, buy some large bakers sheets to do it on, or find someone with an old oven and hook it up in the garage. My friend did that, he rebuilds alot of old cars. The oven is in his garage and when not powdercoating, he is keeping a pizza warm.
do a web search, ie google, under powdercoating.
Also, check out you local high performance speed shops for the at home kits.
