01 ES300 Misfire
I have a 2001 ES300 and cylinder 2, 4, and 6 are misfiring. It's also giving me a code for random misfires, and vvt fault. I have replaced all 6 plugs, ignition coil for cylinder 4 and 6, and a camshaft sensor. The problem still continues. Any ideas?

A common cause of this is bad oil control valves. Search this forum there is quite a lot of info.

Yep, OCV is the first suspect. All cylinders on one bank + VVT = OCV fault.
There is a small chance you can remove the screens in the feed line and find debris causing low pressure. But that is rare and more likely it's time for a new one - or rather two. If one has failed, IME, the other will relatively soon, also.

Clean the screen filter behind the bolt (be careful, it may be brittle), change the oil if you saw sludge, and you mean that the OCV meets the resistance specs, yeah? Otherwise check wiring

Had same issue, P1349 code. Bought the OCV for $25 on Amazon. 30 minutes of labor to put it in and it solved everything. The part is so cheap I don't see any reason for trying to clean/fix the old one.

I have a 2000 es300 I am Smelling something funky it's not a burning smell and the car is very Shakey check engine light blinking here and there sometimes no check engine light but usually coupled with Trac Off light.... Pulling codes p0300 p0301 p0303 p0305 and p1349 which is saying block one is misfiring and so is my VVT and that's it's bad enough to effect my CAT idk what to do here. Is it possible that replacing the right VVT could solve this problem? And if so how likely is it that it is the problem.
