$7500?!?!
It needs more than suspension work then, or their labor rate/parts markup is stupid high. I am replacing every suspension component in my ES, and even at $100/hr for labor (most are about $80 around here except dealers), I would be looking at $2,000, maybe $2,500 at the most in parts and labor.
Something isn't right here. You can rebuild the engine and transmission and not spend $7500 on the total bill.

PLEASE hear me out. I had a 2014 Avalon and HATED the ultra stiff ride. It’s a known problem with 2013-2015 models. I even got 2016 springs from the Toyota dealer ($$) and put them on with brand new struts; the car still rode stiff. Way way too stiff. I got fed up with disliking a car that I paid on monthly, so I sold it and bought a 2002 ES300 and am happier
that said, see for your self but make it a LONG, diverse test drive. Traffic, highway, sode
roads.... I’d say either splurge for a 2016 Avalon or perhaps an older ES350

@ArmyofOne
I was waiting to see that tranny/engine jacked up to get those darn motor mounts out of the way to get at those control arm bolts. PITA design!
