Was thinking the same. Like asking where the engine is located because he wants to install a new timing belt, a job he has done many times before.

Trying to get this job done this weekend. Ran into trouble, need help. Metal pipe that connects lower radiator hose to thermostat housing. I can't get it to lock into the housing end. There is a lip to it that I assume needs some force to pop into place. But no matter how hard to work it I can't get it to lock in. Am I missing something? Try harder? Thanks

HAha.... that pipe has rubber o-ring that fell under car. Got everything together. Not a complicated diy but time consuming and a pain due to location of stat housing.
weird think is that the engine temp is still not getting up to normal. I noticed my 2003 es300 was generally running under normal temp. Then I got a p0128 code. Assumed it was stat and replaced. If code return I guess I'll have to look at the sensor. *♂️

Update: after driving to work today looks like I'm all good. Vehicle wasn't warming up sitting in the driveway, but a ten minute drive got it to normal temp and stayed there. I think (but not sure) part of the reason it wasn't warming up at first is that the computer was resetting the idle. Anyway. If u do this job take a drive for a while before judging the results.
