We have replaced the Battery and the Alternator in our 95 Lexus ES 300.
With the car off the Battery reads 12.5 on volt meter. With car idling the Battery
reads .45 on the volt meter. What could be causing this Alternator is not charging the battery

I had replaced my alternator with rebuilt from Autozone. First two were bad , no or low charging. Third worked great. I got real good at r/r the alternator! I put too much faith and did not bench test in store. I did on the last one!
