Hey guys,

My mom has a 2000 millenium edition ES 300 and I wondered if the windows could roll down while the car was parked with the remote control.

The 2nd GS is able to do that. Can the ES300 do that as well?Thanks

 

I don't know about the mil. edition 2000 ES, but I do know on the 3rd gen ES (02 and >), the four windows and sunroof will open if you press and hold the unlock button on the remote for about 5-10 seconds.

It's great when coming up to the car in a hot parking lot.

On my '01 ES, you would insert the key into the key hole on either front door, turn the key in the unlocking position and hold it. The window will roll down after the door is unlocked. To stop in the middle, you would turn the key back from the unlock position.

 

hmmmm.....do 1st gen ES300's have this feature?

 

On a 1st-gen ES, you would press the unlock button, open the driver's door, insert the key into the key hole next to the steering wheel, turn the key in the ON position, press the four window-down buttons and hold them. To stop in the middle, you would release your fingers from the four buttons.
