Default Power Steering Hose question for 2002 ES (Image Included))

All I need is the rubber hose on the end. Toyota only sells this all together. Do think the parts store could help out. I don't want to pay $100 for the entire thing. (44416-33140 hose)

Maybe. But not all stores have bent hydraulic hoses especially with 2 bends. Around here there is a place that specializes in repairing hydraulic stuff maybe you have something similar.

edit - check Rockauto

While you are messing with that, be sure to check the hose portions of the other line. They may be cracking and starting to leak, too (these went first on ours). This is not a crimped high pressure connection like the one you bought, you can change just the upper portion. You can use heat/oil rated hose from the auto store for it (with a slight bend in it), or get the molded OE replacement from the dealerships (~$20 I think).

While you have that fender panel off behind the pass. wheel, it is nice to take a flashlight and look up around the engine and judge the health of the valve cover gaskets, CV boot, etc.
