Default P0765

I recently changed my valve body on my 2001 Lexus es300 and all the solenoids. Because I had a p0765 code (shift solenoid d) I changed all the solenoids overdrive works now cleared the codes. 2 days later code pops back up. Any advice on what to do now?

According to my 2001 repair manual your error code is set because "During normal driving, the gear required by the ECM does not match the actual gear (2–trip detection logic)"

The ECM uses signals from the vehicle speed sensor to detect the actual gear position (1st, 2nd, 3rd or O/D gear).
Then the ECM compares the actual gear with the shift schedule in the ECM memory to detect mechanical
troubles of the shift solenoid valves and valve body.

According to my 2001 repair manual, the next step would be to check the valve body because one cause of your error code is "Valve body is blocked up or stuck."
However if your overdrive is working I'd suspect the problem is electronic then the
Suspect areas are
2. O/D main switch circuit
3. O/D cancel signal circuit
4. ECM

If the overdrive is not shifting up then check the 3–4 shift valve, then the U/D clutch (C3).
