Cool ASAP key question

"Lost" my keys last night and havn't found anything but the spare.

'93 ES. I need to know pronto if the blank spare with no chip can crank the car. I have some major job interviews late this afternoon and tonight and no other way of getting to them all.

Did the '93 have the car disable feature if you try and crank one without a chip? i.e. cutting off the fuelpump and ignition until it's turned back on via a dealer or the real key?

BTW I found the key...
Mom called my early this morning and said she picked them up.

Unfortunatly she's on a cruise in the carrabean...

The '93ES did not use a chip in the key so you shouldn't have any problem starting your car.

I didn't really know if it were a spare or blank or what. I just know on modern cars with chips they'll disable the ignition or turn off the fuel pump if u stick a blank in there

I love you more amf, Got the job LoL!
