Default EFI problem

Hello, I am having trouble blowing the number 5 fuse under the hood for the EFI. The car died after making a left hand turn & blew 4 fuses.after we were off the road & trying to get it running again. We looked for a short in the area under the cover, but could not find any. We let the car cool off & put in a new fuse & it started right up. Is this possibly a bad fuel pump that is causing the fuse to blow, or could this be a bad ground near the fuel pump? Any help steering me in the right direction is appreciated!

I'd start by checking any wiring that runs behind the fender liner. Has the car ever been in an accident?
