Hey, I have a 2005 ES330 with 89k miles. Recently my ac has been blowing cold and warm. I was thinking possibly the Refrigerant is low? Coming home from work the AC button was blinking and then the car was stalling. I parked the car home and now whenever I turn the AC or defrost on the car bogs down like it will stall. I know if the car is low on refrigerant it would cause the compressor to not run I believe. I wanted to get a can of refrigerant from the auto parts store but in order to use it I need to turn the air conditioning on when I hook it up to the low pressure port in the car seems like it’s going to stall if I do so. Any possible ideas as to why this is happening?

The compressor is seizing, which is not remedied with additional refrigerant.
