1st Car ES300 bought for 4k/ VIP Build??
First Post here,
Hey guys I purchased my very first car all by myself, an 2003 1MZ-FE ES300 for 4,000 dollars. Car has 166k miles and runs fine. The lady originally wanted 5,000 for it but I talked her down because this car needs exterior body work. My car ownership history is 5th gen Camry and a 2nd gen Subaru Outback. But since now that I own this car, I plan to keep her real clean because I want to preserve the premium leather that is in great shape and have enough money to sell the ES buy a generation 1 IS300 in the future. Living in Northern Virginia sucks because people tend to overprice older cars that have no value today. The inspiration from the build is coming from the 2018 Camry XSE that came out and want to include small black accents around the car, it should give it a nice look. Can you give me any advice of what brands to choose from or what how I should go by modding my ES. The mods don't seem all that crazy.
Planned Mod List: (so Far) VIP
1. Side Window Deflector (Rain Guards)
2. Black Lexus ES Floor Mats
3. Dash Mat (Black or Gray)
4. Seat Covers (Black or Gray)
5. Steering Wheel Cover
6. White Side Markers (Led Bulb Conversion)
7. White fog light ASSY with white LED bulb conversion
8. LED Interior and Exterior Lights install (PrecisionLED)?
9. Aftermarket Headlights
10. Aftermarket Tailights
11. OEM Wheel restoration
12. Multiple Speaker Upgrade
13. Aftermarket Center touch screen Upgrade
14. Bumper Revival or replace from junkyard
15. Both Side mirrors need to be replaced (junkyard run)
PERFORMANCE MODS:
1. Seafoam
2. "Performance" All Season Tires
3. Brakes: Slotted Rotors Front and Rear with "High Performance" brake pads
4. Electronic exhaust valve controlled switch
That's what I want to do to my car... so far. So what do you guys think??
Should I post photos??
