'98 es300 trim clips broke/replacements vague?
The black trim plate "garnish" that is between the side doors, pressed down on the rubber weatherstrip WAS held on by 4 little white plastic push clips pushed into the center pillar- when I tried to gently remove the trim piece, all 4 of those "push-pins" broke into little pieces! My problem is I can't accurately identify these things- I ordered online what I thought was the right pieces, only to find upon receiving they're not-$21 pffft! All the parts websites' diagrams showing these with multiple #s and are hand-drawn with crayon-like graphics, making positive identification impossible (hence the incorrect online order). As I'm an hour and 1/2 from the nearest Stealership, anyone happen to know which part # these are? TIA!

Not sure what you are trying to replace, but Ace H. now has large selction of automotive fasteners in drawers in the hardware section in most stores. Much, much more than most auto parts stores and much cheaper. You can match most common fasteners there, or adequate substitutes - I can at my local Ace.

Oro- Thanks for the tip! I went to my local Ace here in town, and after some careful comparisons, i found some plastic automotive fasteners that with some minor mods worked great- Thanks again.
