2003 ES300 Trunk Latch
I purchased a trunk latch for my 2003 Lexus ES300. After installing the latch i could not get it to open the trunk, can anyone tell me whether or not I have to take my car to lexus to have my key programmed to work with the new latch.

What was wrong with your old latch? The security/keyless entry system will not prevent you from opening the trunk.
